This 6-month teaching license lets you use my complete Calligraphy Workbooks Bundle (Small Pens) for educational, non-profit, or community-based purposes, including classrooms, library programs, or free/low-cost workshops. This license is not for running paid courses as your own business, and the materials may not be resold or claimed as your own work.

When you purchase this license, you’ll receive:

  • 6 digital workbooks for small calligraphy pens with step-by-step instructions, traceable and freehand sections, and blank worksheets:
  • Videos for teaching purposes only. Watch the closed-captioned video trainings for each workbook and show them in class. Students may not access the videos directly.
  • Use in classrooms, workshops, or library events. Legally teach The Happy Ever Crafter® calligraphy course to groups of students.
  • Unlimited students during your 6-month license. Teach as many students as you like within your license period.
  • Printable copies for students allowed. Print workbook pages for class use; digital files may not be shared or distributed.
  • Must credit The Happy Ever Crafter® Materials must be presented as they exist including all branding and footers. Do not remove or alter any copyright notices.
  • 6-month term. License expires after six months unless renewed.

Restrictions

  • Resale or Redistribution: You may not resell, share, or distribute the digital files in any form.
  • Student Access to Videos: You may not provide students with direct access to the video trainings; they are for instructor-led viewing only.
  • Alteration of Materials: You may not remove or modify any branding, footers, or copyright notices included in the materials.
  • Online Course Integration: You may not incorporate these materials into online courses or digital platforms that are accessible to students outside of your direct supervision.
  • Commercial Use Beyond Teaching: This license is for educational purposes only. You may not use the materials to generate revenue through paid classes or workshops. Charging students beyond a nominal materials fee is prohibited. This license does not grant rights to operate a for-profit calligraphy business using these materials.

Why a license?

The regular workbooks are for personal, individual use only. This special license allows teachers, community organizations, and libraries to legally use my copyrighted materials in group settings — at a fair flat rate.

Licensing Questions

Do I have to apply to purchase the teaching license?

Yes. Because this license grants special rights to use copyrighted materials in a group or public setting, all purchases must be pre-approved. Only approved applicants will receive the link to complete their license purchase. This ensures the materials are used appropriately and legally.

How many students can I teach under one license?

Unlimited. You can teach as many students as you’d like during your 6-month license period, but only in the manner and method outlined in your application.

For example, if you said you'd be teaching events at public libraries, you cannot also use the material to teach program at a local art supply store.

Can I give my students the digital files?

No. You’re welcome to print copies for students in your class or event, but you can’t share the digital PDFs or upload them anywhere online.

Can I put these workbooks into my own online course or membership?

No. The license covers live teaching in-person or online workshops/classes you host, but you can’t embed my workbooks as downloadable materials in your own digital course or membership.

Do I have to credit you when I use the workbooks?

Yes. You must mention The Happy Ever Crafter® as the creator of the workbooks in your class materials or descriptions.

Can I adjust the branding or put my name on the workbooks?

No. All branding, footers, and copyright notices must remain intact. You may not alter or add your own name to the materials.

Purchase Questions

Can I buy just one workbook license instead of the entire bundle?

Not at this time. The teaching license covers the full set of workbooks.

Can I keep using the workbooks after 6 months?

Not without renewing your license. Once your 6-month term ends, your right to use the workbooks for teaching expires.

What happens if I don’t renew?

You’ll lose access to the teaching materials at the end of your 6-month license. If you’d like to continue using the workbooks for personal use, you can purchase the individual versions.

Do I have to buy a license if I’m just learning for myself?

Nope! If you’re only using the workbooks on your own, the regular version is all you need. The teaching license is specifically for instructors, libraries, or anyone teaching groups.
